# Cowala website rebuild — private reference

Private working reference for the Cowala rebuild, captured from the public AwaRua Organics website on 13 October 2026 (Australia/Sydney). Source: https://english.awaruaorganics.co.nz/ . Website platform: Rocketspark.

Open `index.html` to enter the reference homepage. `archive-index.html` lists the retained pages and reports. For a local web server, serve this repository root; all display assets use relative local paths. The root page redirects locally to the homepage without any network service or remote script.

The current browse clone retains 23 marketing/content pages. Shop, category/filter/SKU pages, shopping cart, purchase links, shipping/payment displays and Shop navigation were removed. Product information and images remain. Original site JavaScript is inactive; only the small local `browse/archive.js` reader handles navigation and simple interactions. Forms cannot submit. Video, map, captcha, analytics, payment services and licensed Typekit fonts were excluded. Some dynamic behavior and typography differ from the original website. External navigation links may still open public third-party pages.

## Included evidence

- `browse/`: the current no-Shop reference clone and local assets.
- `inventory.csv`, `pages-inventory.json`, `crawl-manifest.json`: source inventories and capture status; `package_included` indicates which local resource is included. Historical `raw_path`, original byte sizes and original SHA-256 values refer to the complete local capture, not this modified package.
- `QA_REPORT.md`, `qa-checks.json`: historical integrity and sampled visual QA of the full local archive. Raw originals were checked there. `PACKAGE_QA.md` and `PACKAGE_QA.json` separately check this package.
- `SHOP_REMOVAL_REPORT.json`: commerce removal record. Machine paths are omitted.
- `PACKAGE_MANIFEST.json`: current package file sizes and SHA-256 checksums; this manifest does not hash itself.
- `qa/no-shop-homepage.png`: prior sampled browser review screenshot.

Raw original captures, capture/restore scripts, local backups and the original copy-verification report are not uploaded. They remain in the existing local archive. No database, backend source, credentials, customer records, checkout or private account data were captured or included. The inventories preserve excluded/failed URL records as historical metadata, which does not mean those resources are present.

## Remaining rebuild work and rights

The Cowala brand-image and text replacement has not started. OEM/manufacturing content still requires removal from Cowala and separate preparation for a new GMP Dairy website. This repository is a reference archive, not a finished Cowala website.

Original text, photographs, branding, fonts and vendor code remain the property of their respective rights holders. Public access does not supply a republication or reuse license. Copyright and attribution are retained; this repository grants no new license over third-party material. Keep this repository private and do not enable public hosting for this reference copy. Replace assets and text and verify permissions before any public Cowala launch.
